Frances E. Gash Snyder, 84, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 5, at Spring Valley Baptist Church, 8801 E. 79th St., Raytown, Mo., where services will be at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Parkway, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64114, or Spring Valley Baptist Church.

Frances was born October 20, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo. She retired from Federal Reserve Bank. She was a longtime member of Spring Valley Baptist Church, where she served the Lord by teaching small children.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Gash and Elmer Snyder. She leaves her children, Robert Gash (Bonnie) and Linda Blisset (Allen); brothers, Harold Gibson (Mary), Arthur Gibson (Lorraine), Russell Gibson (Dorothy); four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Frances also had two stepchildren and two step grandsons. Arrangements: Park Lawn Funeral Home.
