Arthur William Gibson Sr., age 92, of Raymore, MO, passed away on his birthday September 6, 2019. Visitation at 9AM on Wednesday, Sept.11 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral at 10AM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Art was a World War II Navy veteran, he worked at Bendix for forty years, was a founding member of Ruskin Heights Baptist Church, and was a leader in Boy Scouts for over twenty years. He was a patriot, who loved puzzles, dinner theater, and travel. Art was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Loraine Gibson, his daughter Nancy Lynn Gibson, son Arthur William Gibson Jr., granddaughter Rachel Dawn Gibson, and 11 siblings. He is survived by his children Diana Skinner(Stephen). Karen Rish(Stuart), Keith Gibson ( Doreen ), daughter-in-law Karen Gibson (Art Jr.), his brother Russell Gibson (Barbara), 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren .
