Mr. Amsberry was born in Mason City, Nebraska. He came to Seattle 31 years ago from Wenatchee. He had been employed as a linotype operator for the Post-Intellegencer for the past 31 years.
Survivors: Wife, Viola; daughter, Mrs. Verla Rae Salley, Wenatchee; sisters, Mrs. Lee Fullington, Portland, Mrs. Jim Wardwell, Gladstone, Oregon; brothers Roy of Gresham, Oregon, Guy of Blaine and Hugh Amsberry, Camp Sherman, Oregon; and five grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Home Undertaking Company; burial in Evergreen Cemetery."
