MO death cert. #29565

Twin brother of Moses Brannam Find A Grave Memorial# 33522353

Aaron was the twin brother of Moses Brannam. Both brothers were unsure of birthdate, so celebrated 14 Feb as the birthdate.

Aaron Brannam,- son of John and Rebecca Brannam, was born in the state of Indiana, February 14, 1886; departed this life at his home near Houston, August 7,1943; age at time of departure fifty seven years.

He moved to Texas County, when quite young, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was married to Sarah Ogle and to this union there were born seven children, two having died in infancy.

Those who remain are Otto Brannam, Mrs. Grace Cooper, Virgil Brannam, Goldie Rogers, all of Houston; Mrs. Sylvia Cummins, of LaPorte, Indiana.

His kindly disposition and honest dealings has endeared him to the hearts of his neighbors and he will not only be missed in the home, but the neighborhood as well.

He leaves to mourn his going his devoted companion, the above mentioned children and several grandchildren; one brother, Geo. Brannam of Raymondville; Charley Brannam, Greenboa, Mo., Bill Brannam, Larned, Kansas. His mother, father and one sister preceded him in death.

"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid; I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth on me shall never die."

Another home has been broken,
No more will it be the same,
A voice is stilled round the fireside,
No more will he speak your names.
But the memories he has left will
linger,
And comfort you through the
years,
When you think of the days that
are past,
It will help you to dry your tears.
