Mrs. Gertrude Shortnacy, wife of Silas Shortnacy of Heath, Texas passed away Friday evening.
Services 2 p.m. Sunday, Heath Baptist Church. Body will repose at the home.
She is survived by husband; two sons, Louis Shortnacy, Mesquite, and Calvin Shortnacy, Dallas; four daughters, Mrs. Lois Brummett, Dallas, Mrs. Faye Brummett, Forney, Mrs. Emma Ruth Taylor, Dallas, and Mrs. Margie Wolford, Dallas; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Henry Hicks, Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. Winnie Boland, Mrs. Lena Miller, Mrs. Frankie Whatley, all of Mesquite and Mrs. Ira Lewis, Red Oak.
