MARZELLA ANN WRIGHT:

Mrs. Molly A. "Granny" Hinton, 90, lifelong resident of Lincoln Parish died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. P. Rinehart, in the Douglas Community late Sunday, following a lengthy illness. Advanced age was given as the chief factor in Mrs. Hinton's death.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. J. M. Beckham of Ruston and Mrs. Rinehart, and a host of grandchildren, including four orphaned grandsons, Aubrey and Thomas Hinton of Swartz, Otis of Dallas, TX and Orien of Fort Worth, TX, all of whom were reared by Mrs. Hinton after the death of their father, Ed Hinton, youngest son of Mrs. Hinton. Included among the surviving grandchildren is Mrs. George Shinpoch of Ruston.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Vienna Methodist Church this afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. H. M. Johnson of Arcadia officiating, assisted by Presiding Elder Rev. Louis Hoffpaur, of the Ruston district, Rev. Guy M. Hicks, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, Ruston, and Rev. Morland of Choudrant. Mrs. Hinton had been a member of the Vienna Church for more than 70 years. Interment will follow the services in Vienna Cemetery.
