Dixon(not Dickson) Lewis Blair is the son of William L. Blair, Esq. and Sarah Elizabeth "Betsey" (Bishop) Blair. He 1st married Bettie Isabella Turner on 23 Sep 1880 in Barbour Co., AL. She died from childbirth complications with their only child on 05 Aug 1881 in Barbour Co. Dixon then 2nd married her sister, Mary Ingalls Carleton Turner on 06 Apr 1882 in White Oak Springs, Barbour Co. They had at least 6 children:
