Ethel Walley, 78, of Richton, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Perry County Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Richton, with burial in Freeman Cemetry.
A homemaker, she was a member of Zion Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband,, Alex Walley; one son, Marvin L. Walley; parents, George and Alma Brownlee; one brother, Major Brownlee; one sister, Alma Bryant.
She is survived by one daughter, Grace Freeman of Richton; four sisters, Audrey Watson of Richton, Mary Simpson of Pickens and Alyce Rylee of Pickens, Juanice Walley of Richton; one brother, Leonard Brownlee of Richton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Walley, Colby Freeman, Ricky Freeman, Vinson Freeman, Charles Stuart. Alternate is Don Freeman. Honorary pallbearer will be Lavon Watson.
Jones Funeral Home in Richton is in charge of arrangements.
