Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Frisco Cemetery (Brownlee Family Cemetery) Perry County, for Mr. Leonard Brownlee, age 86, of Richton who died on August 25, 2021. Bro. Shott Stinson will officiate and serving as pallbearers will be Cruz Gonzales, Brandon Brownlee, David Grantham, Kenny Odom, Beto Gonzalez, and Roger Burnett.
Mr. Brownlee was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alma Brownlee; brother, Major Brownlee; sisters, Audrey Watson, May Nell Simpson, Ethel Walley, Alyce Rylee, Almeda Bryant, Juanice Walley and granddaughter, Bethany Brownlee.
He is survived by his wife, Avis Brownlee of Richton; sons, Wesley (Patricia) Brownlee and Bentley (Robin) Brownlee; daughter, Donna (William) Biles, all of Richton; 6 grandchildren, Shauna Watson, Sheree Gonzales, Timothy (Lauren) Brownlee, Brandon Brownlee, Emily (Trent) Dixon, and Dayla Biles; 10 great-grandchildren, Erin, Cruz, Mya, Autumn, Brandon, Hayley, Natalee, Alyssa, Kace, and Angelica.
Mr. Brownlee enjoyed collecting rocks and making walking canes and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
