Thomas Wilson Adams son of Alexander and Elizabeth Peacock Adams, was born in Rochester, N.Y., Dec 10, 1848, and departed his life February 2, 1930, at Hoberg, MO.
He came west when a boy with his father, who was a miller, which Thomas followed for awhile. Lucretia Gibson, daughter of Judge David E. Gibson, was married to Thomas, July 31, 1872, who survives. Five children grew to maturity: Frank, the eldest who died in 1909, Clint of Hoberg, Mrs. Bertha Clark of Rolla, Lucy of Chicago, and Gibson of Indianapolis, three granddaughter, Mrs. George Fowler of Hoberg, Mrs. Russell Crawford of Tulsa, OKlahoma, and Martha Adams of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. E.P. Woods of Mt. Vernon, and a brother, George A. Adams of Kansas City.
The funeral service was held at the Presbyterian Church in Hoberg. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
