Funeral Held Sunday for Herbert J. Harmon of Route 3.
Funeral services for Herbert J. Harmon, age 62, of LaFayette Route 3, were held Sunday May 17 at 5:00 p.m. at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Harmon died Saturday following an illness of about a month, and died at the home of his son Jack Harmon in Lanett. Elder Cohen Higgins conducted final rites.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Eppie Thrower Harmon; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Simonton of Five Points; son, Jack Harmon, Lanett; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Christian, LaFayette, and Mrs. Tom House, Five Points; one brother, Wood Harmon, LaFayette.
Pallbearers were Adrian Smith, David Tyler, Robert Wilkerson, Dewey Leach, W. G. Harmon and Morgan Harmon.
