Miss Florence H. Hoopes
Miss Florence H. Hoopes, 80, died at Brandywine Hall Nursing Home, West Chester. Her home was at 423 Price St., West Chester.
Born in West Bradford Twp., daughter of the late Passmore W. and Anna J. Hoopes, Miss Hoopes lived most of her life in West Chester. For the past 12 years, she was employed in the office of the Fruit Growers of Chester County.
A member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Miss Hoopes served as treasurer of the Women's Assn. for 33 years. Recently, Miss Hoopes was made an honorary member of the National Board of Missions of the United Presbyterian Church of America. She was a charter member of the Soroptomist Club of West Chester.
A brother, Passmore W. Hoopes, West Chester, and several nieces and nephews survive.
HOOPES- On May 29, 1959, Florence H., daughter of the late Passmore W. and Anna J. Hoopes, in her 81st year.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the Harold A. Famous Funeral Home, 101 S. Church St., West Chester, Pa., on Tuesday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. Interment West Chester Friends Burial Ground. Friends may call Monday evening.
