JESSIE FAYE CULLISON, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born June 15, 1919, in Wichita, Kan., a daughter of Hugh Melvin and Mable (Hollar) Davenport. She died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 89.
Ms. Cullison was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Eureka Springs.

She is survived by four sons, Vernon Foster of Eureka Springs, Carl Cullison of Oneonta, Alabama, David Cullison of Kansas City, Mo., and Rex Cullison of Humbolt, Kan.; three daughters, Peggy Moore of Wichita, Kan., Tricia Bains of Duncan, Oklahoma, and June Dorflinger of Burson, California; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one nephew and several other relatives and a host of friends.

In 1940 Ms. Cullison was united in marriage with Cecil Cullison, who preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one daughter, Ann.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs in Eureka Springs with Brother Tim Garrison officiating. Interment followed in the Eureka Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
