Linda D. Nampel, 58, died Sunday morning in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1948, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., the daughter of Ralph and Eva (Agee) Burden. Married Joseph Duane on Feb. 19, 1971, in Freeport. She is survived by her husband, Duane; children, Jeffery (Debbie) Nampel, Dawn (Gus) Zaharopoulos and Joe (Lisa) Nampel; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Carol, William and Donnie; and mother-in-law, Alice Nampel. Predeceased by her parents; son, Jimmy Dewayne; brothers, Bobbie and Virgil.
