Mildred J. Burden, 60, Muscle Shoals, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, of an extended illness. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals with burial in Blackground Cemetery, Town Creek.
Officiating at the funeral will be Dr. Jeff Noblit.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Cornell, El Pasco, Texas, Allen Cornell, San Antonio, Texas, Roy Young Jr., Muscle Shoals; daughters, Becky Odell, Sheffield, Cheryl Duralia, Florence; sisters, Virginia Vaughn, Dorothy Pigg, Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Linda Napple, Rockford, Ill.; brothers, Don Burden, Tuscumbia, Carroll Burden, Loretto, Tenn., William Burden, Rockford, Ill.; Virgil Burden, Green Bay, Wis.; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
