Mrs. Grace Ward, widow of Art M. Ward died unexpectedly in her home, 25 East 14th, at 6:15 a.m. Friday following a stroke. She was born Jan. 9, 1876 in Nevada, Ill., and lived in Hutchinson since 1893. Her husband died in 1933.

Mrs. Ward was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Business and Professional Women's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Acacia Chapter of Eastern Star and New Century Club.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Florence Lilly of Roxbury, Mrs. Mary Merritt of Haven and Mrs. Clara Richards of Hutchinson.
