William A. McKeel, 70, died of a heart attack Tuesday night at his home in Forest City. Funeral services will be 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Pettijohn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Norman Lewis, and burial will be in the Forest City cemetery.

Surviving besides the widow, Mrs. Mary McKeel of the home, are two sons, Lavell McKeel of St. Joseph and Lowell McKeel of Pittsburg, Cal.; three daughters, Mrs. Verba Sochat of Los Angeles and Mrs. Cleta Pullen and Mrs. Maris Davidson of Oregon.

William A. McKeel, son of William and Margaret McKeel, was born February 24, 1886, at Niangua, Mo., and passed away August 8, 1956, at his home in Forest City, Mo.

Early in life he joined the Methodist Church to which he remained faithful until his death.

On November 27, 1904, he was united in marriage to Mary L. Hudson. To this union five children were born.

A carpenter at Forest City, Mr. McKeel was one of the founders and past-presidents of the Atchison, Holt and Andrew Fox Hunters Association.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mary L. McKeel of the home; two sons, Lavell McKeel of St. Joseph and Lowell McKeel of Pittsburg, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Cleda Pullen and Mrs. Marie Davidson, of Oregon; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
