Myron Litson Ottley, a loving and gentle man, passed away October 29, 1997. at his home.
Born November 10, 1921 in Murray, Utah (Formerly South Cottonwood) to Edward Charles and Irene Litson Ottley. Married Shirley Crabtree February 11, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, who devoted his life to the gospel, serving as Bishop of the South Cottonwood Ward and many years on the High Council, as well as many other callings. He served a mission to the Central States. He was a Veteran of World War II. He loved music and was a member of the Beehive Statesman Barbershop Chorus. He loved the outdoors, especially the Uintah's and Southern Utah. He was a devoted husband, a caring father and a loving grandfather.
Survived by his wife, two daughters; Mrs. Richard (Kay) Paul and Mrs. Richard (Marcia) Orr, son Roland (Sharen) Ottley; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Shaw; sister-in-law Mrs. Owen (Betty) Ottley.
