Leslie A. Venter Dies at Age 47
Leslie A. Venter, 47, died Thursday Jan 18, 1973 at home in Afton apparently from heart failure. He had had considerable illness and a rheumatic heart most of his life.
He was born Feb 24, 1925, in Los Angeles, Calif., the youngest of four children born to Clarence Don and Edith Lavon Allred Venter.
Because of ill health his activities were limited both in his work and social life.
He was unable to do hard work, but enjoyed working with tractors, driving trucks and was handy repairing machinery.
He attended school in Afton.
He loved his family and was always concerned for their welfare. He was especially thoughtful of his mother during her long illness. He was loved by his family as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother June 3, 1972.
He is survived by his father Clarence; two sisters, Edith Elnora Nelson, Idaho Falls and Erma Anderson Afton; and one brother, Don Venter of Salt Lake City, Utah.
