Funeral services will be held Friday July 18, 1997. at 12 noon in the Rose Park Stake Center, 760 North 1200 West Salt Lake City. Friends may call that morning from 10:30 to 11:45 at the church. Graveside services will be held Saturday July 19, 1997 at 1 p.m. at the Afton City Cemetery.
Erma was born on Jan 2, 1918 to Clarence Don and Edith Lavon Allred Venter in Afton. she married Cecil Peter Anderson on June 11, 1936 in the Logan Temple. During their time together on earth they enjoyed much love until his death on Aug 17, 1951. Erma was a devoted mother who bravely raised their three alone.
Erma was a dedicated employee of the Lincoln County Wyoming Agriculture Extension office for many years. After her retirement she moved from Afton to Salt Lake City to be near her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many church callings.
She is survived by daughters Kaylene Dalley of West Jordan and Joyce Roberts of Salt Lake City, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Edith, Husband Cecil Peter, son Boyd Anderson, brothers Don and Leslie Venter and sister Edith Elnora Venter Nelson.
