"Paul E. Handwork, 36, Green-Beaver Road, died of a heart ailment Friday morning in the South Side hospital. He had undergone heart surgery two years ago. Mr. Handwork was born Jan. 1, 1927, in North Jackson, a son of Charles and Nellie Russell Handwork, and lived in Canfield eighteen years. He was a bookkeeper for the American Fire Clay Co. and was a member of the Old North Baptist church. A graduate of Canfield High School, he attended Youngstown University. Besides his wife the former Elva Mack, whom he married May 23, 1947, and his parents, he leaves two sons, Paul E. Jr. and Timothy, both at home; four sisters, Mrs. Anthony Fisher of Struthers, Mrs. Eugene Berkey of Canfield, Mrs. John Lewis of Salem, and Mrs. Walter Yeager of Ellsworth; and three brothers, John of Vienna, Charles Jr. and Donald, both of Salem. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Carl Brand, were held Monday afternoon in the Old North church, and interment made in the Canfield cemetery."
