James B & Annie M (Clark) Taylor met in Prince Edward Island, Canada. They married in 1899 and moved to Hyde Park, Massachusetts where they had 5 children. About 1914 they moved to Houghs Neck, Quincy, Massachusetts where they lived the rest of their lives and had 3 more children. James died on Christmas day, and his wife never had another 'celebration' on that day. Several of their children still live on Houghs Neck as of 2010 or in a close proximity. 99 Island Avenue was the Taylor Homestead until it was sold in 1982 upon Harold C Taylors death.
James is buried with his wife and other family members nearby.
