Mary also succumbed to the diphtheria which took the life of her brother, Elwin. Mary came to Montana from Minnesota with her parents in 1912. Minnie, Elwin and mary were the children who made the trip to Montana. Three more sisters joined the family while living north of Inverness. Dorothy in 1913, Wilma in 1915 and Maxine in 1918.
