OBITUARY: Death of Mrs. Mary E. Miller
Mrs. Mary E. Miller, an old and highly respected lady of this county, died at her home near Azen, on Friday, September 25, 1908. Aged 78 years, 1 month and 29 days. The funeral took place Saturday from Prairie View church in this county, being conducted by Rev. W. S. Miller. After which the remains were interred in the Prairie View Church.
Mary E. Beaver was born in Barker county, West Virginia, July 26, 1830. In her youth she united with the M. E. church, and remained a faithful member until death.
he was united in marriage with Martin Miller, July 28, 1852. To this union were born five children-two sons and three daughters-whom she leaves to mourn her death. Also twelve grand children, seven great grand children and host of neighbors and friends.
