BRIEF ILLNESS PROVES FATAL
Mrs. Freeman Wallace, of Danville, died last night at 10 o'clock at her home following a week's illness. The deceased, who was 38 years age, is survived by her husband; four sons, Bluett, Luther, Louis and Horace; three daughters, Lurlene, Audine and Lorraine; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Filyaw; three sisters, Mrs. E. Sanford, Mrs. Lela Hill and Mrs. Lillian Long.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at three o'clock at Johnson's Chapel by Rev. J. H. Hill and Rev. S. W. Brooks. Interment will follow there, Drinkard and Howell directing.
The following will be pallbearers: J. V. Sims, Fred Sanford, Pinion Sims, Boyd Lemon. The following will handle the flowers: Misses Odell Sims, Ola Hall, Ima Long, Marie Sanford, Audie and Nolie Randolph, Rheba Cooper, Catherine and Pauline Stephenson, Hoyle Sandlin, Alleen Long and Mrs. Lucille Smith.
Mrs. Wallace was one of the most beloved residents of our community and her death occasioned widespread sorrow.
