"Lucille M. Gast, 85, a resident of Shelton for 10 years, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1993, in Fir Lane Terrace Nursing Center, Shelton.
She was born Jan. 12, 1908, to Henry and Bertha (Belmore) McFadden in Eau Claire, Wis. She enjoyed working around the house, gardening, pruning fruit trees, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gast was a member of St Edward's Catholic Church, Shelton.
Surviving Mrs. Gast are a son, Robert L. Donahue of Vancouver; a daughter, Frances Askew of Shelton; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mrs. Gast will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, in McComb Funeral Home, Shelton. The Rev. Dominic Hahn, O.S.B., will officiate. Interment will be in Shelton Memorial Park." The Olympian (Olympia, Washington), November 17, 1993
