Ralph Ryckman Jr.

- Ralph Ryckman Jr., 80, of Batesville and previously of the Andersonville area, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 at the Waters of Batesville.
Born Sept. 9, 1927 in Franklin County, he was the son of Ralph and Frances (Griner) Ryckman Sr., both deceased. He married Madeline Gilbert Oct. 6, 1951; she preceded him in death.
Mr. Ryckman was a member of Buena Vista Christian Church. He owned Ryckmans Phillips 66 Garage in Andersonville for 57 years.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Ryckman of Laurel; one daughter, Debbie Ryckman of Laurel; one sister, Peggy Ryckman; and one brother, Thomas Ryckman of Rushville.
Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery and will include a graveside military service. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
