Fred 'Jack' Ryckman, 58, Morgan Street, Rushville, died at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 1987, in the Rush Memorial Hospital, Rushville.

He was born June 19, 1929, in Franklin County, the son of Ralph and Frances Griner Ryckman. He was a machine operator, retired from Allison's Indianapolis. He married Dorothy Smith March 31, 1966, and she survives. He was a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rushville.

Surviving with his wife are a son, Dennis Ryckman, Tampa, Fla.; three daughters, Diana Trent and Carol Ryckman, both of Nashville, Tenn., and Karen Ryckman, at home; one stepdaughter, Jeanett Alsman; three brothers, Ralph Ryckman Jr., Laurel, Richard Ryckman, Rushville, and Thomas Ryckman, Connersville; three sisters, Mrs. Dayle Ingram, Falmouth, Frieda Jean Ryckman, Florida, and Mrs. Irvin (Lina) Baker, Andersonville; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St.Mary's Catholid Church in Rushville, with the Rev. William Cleary officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Rush County.

Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Todd Funeral Home in Rushville.

A rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
