Services for Lillian R. Schwartz, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Behrens Mortuary with Dr. Richard Ward officiating. Burial will be in Black Hills National Cemetery under the direction of Behrens Mortuary.
A memorial has been established to the dialysis unit at the Rapid City Hospital.
Mrs. Schwartz died Monday at a nursing home in Sturgis. She was born May 29, 1896, at Marshalltown, Iowa, to William and Louisa Dellinger. She married Leo N. Schwartz Nov. 1, 1916, at Wessington Springs. They lived there until they moved to Hot Springs in 1942. She has lived in Rapid City since 1971.
Survivors include two sons; two daughters; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
