Funeral services for Isom E. Eaton, 73, were held Wednesday aftnoon at 3 o'clock at the First Christian Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Sam C. Cooper, assisted by the Rev. T. J. Watts, Baptist minister.
Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, directed by Cooper's Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Claude McConnell, Junot McKee, Robert Shelton, Jr., Marvin Campbell, A. C. McClure and W. B. Rieves.
Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of the Christian Church.
Mr. Eaton, who died early Tuesday morning, was born in Bowling Green, Ky., May 5, 1881.
He married Miss Mary Katherine Hall in October, 1901.
Surviving, besides his widow, are two sons, Elmer Eaton, Paris, and Charlie Eaton, Honey Grove; one brother, C. L. Eaton, Honey Grove, besides seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Mrs. G. C. Avery, passed away in December 1952.
Mr. Eaton was a deacon in the Christian Church.
