Charlie L. Eaton, 94, who lived at 404 Commerce St. here, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the M and S Hospital at Commerce.
He was a retired carpenter.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Eaton was born Feb. 22, 1879, in Kentucky, son of Harvey and Jennie Eaton.
He married the former Miss Anzie Rebecca Hall in Honey Grove on Aug. 22, 1900.
He was a member of the Church of Christ here.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hallie Siddle, living in Louisiana; four sons: Harvey Eaton of Waskom, Frank Eaton of Corpus Christi, Charlie Eaton Jr. of Commerce and Alvin Eaton of Commerce. A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
His wife and three daughters preceded him in death.
