Nannie Lively was born March 5, 1914 in Hamlin Texas. She married Clinton L.Lively on May 15,1928 in Seymour, Texas. He died Sept. 26, 1993. Nannie worked in the housekeeping department at Texas Tech University for 18 years, retiring in 1979 as the housekeeping supervisor for Hulen Hall. She was an active memeber of the Parkway Drive Church of Christ and the Golden Rays at Monterey Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by husband Clint, an infant son, Bobby Glenn in 1932, a daughter Helen Wills, on April 5, 1991; two grandsons-Billy Leon Wills in 1960 and John Mark Welch in 1963, and two great-grandchildren-Matthew Lynn Huffman in 1991, and Haley Kathleen Little in 1997, three sisters and three brothers,
Survivors include a son, Jerald Don Lively of Euless, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Bill(Polly)McCarty of Ft. Worth, Texas and Mrs. Richard(Doris)Welch of Lubbock; a brother, Jason Stewart of Henrietta; 13 grandchildren,22 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
