Mrs. Mamie Bradley died last Saturday evening in St Mary's Hospital, Decatur, following a major operation performed on Thursday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the M. E. Church with interment in Monticello Cemetery.

Mamie Ellen Foster was the d/o Joseph G. and Caroline Foster and was born July 13, 1873 in Sangamon Twp. She was married to John Bradley, who died June 11, 1925. She leaves to mourn her passing three sons: Arthur H., Akron OH; Donald of Monticello; Harold of Kansas City MO. Also three brothers: Jesse and James Foster of Monticello; and Charles Foster of Los Angeles CA.

She was a member of Monticello chapter of Eastern Star. She was a woman of quiet, unassuming disposition but made friends wherever she went. She bore her sufferings without a murmur and had a cheery smile and word for everyone. She will be greatly missed in the home circle and among a wide circle of friends.
