Mrs. Esther Lilly died at her home here, last Saturday afternoon after a long but unpainful illness of several months, which was caused from old age, she being eighty-seven years, ten months and one day old.
Her husband, Samuel Lilly, preceded her to the spirit world many years ago.
Mrs. Lilly leaves three daughters and five sons besides a very large circle of other relatives.
She was a kind mother and a good neighbor and very highly respected, as was attested by the very large attendance at her funeral, which was held, yesterday, at the Reformed church of which she was a member since her youth. The pastor of the church, Rev. Mr. Barnhard, conducted the services. Interment was in Saegertown cemetery.
