EDGAR ADAM HAINLEY

A retired miner residing at 2407 Oak avenue, died this morning at 6.30 o'clock at Mercy hospital. He was born in Altoona April 17, 1878, a son of John and Barbara (Thomas) Hainley. His wife, Minnie Hainley, died June 16, 1949. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William Galloway and Mrs. Ralph Goodman, both of Altoona; six sons, John, George, Merle, Lawrence and Karl Hainley, all of Altoona and Richard Hainley of Rockville, Md.; 25 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Norris of Altoona and Mrs. Laura Fish of Tioga Falls, O. Mr. Hainley was a member of the Mennonite church. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock Thursday evening.
