Margaret Guilliams Hall, 76, of Ferrum, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at her home. She was born August 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Yopp Guilliams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Hall; daughter, Mary Hall Short; son-in-law, Mike Short; grandchild, Jennifer Renee Short; three brothers and four sisters. Surviving are her children, Elmer Lee Hall, of Ferrum, Velma Hall Lynch and husband, Thomas, of Glade Hill, George "Daniel" Hall, of Rocky Mount, Carol Hall Whitehead, of Anchorage, Alaska, Minnie Hall Galyean, of Ferrum, Ruby Hall Young and husband, Chris, of Martinsville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Begley, of Vinton and Polly Beckner, of Callaway. Funeral services will be conducted from Antioch Church of the Brethren, 2 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009, with Pastor Tom Powers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday January 21, 2009 with her family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
