Greenville News, October 15, 1964. Mrs. Iris O'Dell Rhodes Coggins, 69, widow of Walter L. Coggins, died Tuesday at the home of her son, Theron E. Coggins, in Cayce after a brief illness.
Daughter of the late Drayton C. and Clementine Riddle Rhodes, she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church at Gowansville and attended Greenville Female College.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Thursday at Abner's Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Carl O. Page, Rev. Lawrence Coggins, Rev. Joe Wilson and Rev. Johnny Bullman. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
