Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Daisy Lena Wesley, 48, who died at her home on Polly Ann Ridge September 23, following a long illness.
Born July 6, 1913, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Ashley Young, Eubank, and the late John Young. She was married to Amon Wesley, February 11, 1930, and eight children were born to the union.
She was a member of the Polly Ann Church of God. Survivors are her husband; her mother; eight children, Karnie A. Wesley, Waynesburg, Mrs. Lois Roberts, Eubank, Mrs. Lucille Watkins, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Jean Padgett, Phillip Wesley, Peggy Ann Wesley, Shelia Wesley and Lannie Wayne Wesley, all of Eubank; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Estes Eubank, Mrs. Vernia Blair, Mrs. Maudie Higgins; 2 brothers, Elbert Young and Delbert Young, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Polly Ann Church of God with the Rev. William Lewis officiating. Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery.
