Aretta Collins Attkisson, age 97, of Ethridge, passed away Tuesday in Columbia. She was a native of Lawrence County, a homemaker, and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters: Evelyn Faulkner of Ethridge and Nell Grimes of Lawrenceburg; two sons: Buck Attkisson of Summertown and Milton Attkisson of Ethridge. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 at Neal Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
