William E. Glunt, age 68, of 1407 Seventeenth avenue, died at the Altoona hospital at 9:45 o'clock this morning after an extended illness. He was born in Orbisonia Feb. 22, 1889, a son of Andrew and Emma (Farrenberg) Glunt.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Roxie (Gibboney) Glunt; two sons, Elliot and Merle of Silver Springs, Md.; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Glunt of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Maude Wigand, Mrs. Lulu Mower, Mrs. Viola Wilson, Rush and Robert, all of Altoona, Hollace of Orbisonia and Walter of Harrisburg.
Mr. Glunt was a retired Altoona yard brakeman and a member of the B. of R. T.
Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock Saturday evening.
