Roxie A. Glunt 89, of United Presbyterian Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of 1407 17th Ave., died at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 1981, at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 8, 1891, in Duncansville, a daughter of George Elmer and Olive Louise (Black) Gibboney and on Jan. 24, 1910, she married William Elliot Glunt, who died Aug. 15, 1957.

Surviving are two children, Elliott H. of Silver Spring. MD and E. Merle of Mount Union, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, a sister, Lorraine Zimmerman of South Fork.

Mrs. Glunt was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Friends will be received at the Replogle Funeral Home 7-9 Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Services will follow with Rev. John P. Martin and Rev. Robert Branin. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
