J.F. Hudgens Dies At Home At Monaghan

J.F. Hudgens of 38 Smyth street, Monaghan Mill, died at his home last night after a week's illness, of pneumonia. Mr. Hudgens was well known in this community and had a host of friends. He was a member of the Woodman of the World Camp No. 203 of Monaghan mill, and also a member of the I.O.O.F. of Pelzer. The deceased was forty-nine years of age and was owner of the Hudgens store near his home, having been proprietor of same for about seven years. He is survived by a wife, five daughters; Mrs. Gus Barber, Miss Eva Hudgens, Miss Callie Hudgens, Miss Inez Hudgens and Miss Dovie Hudgens; four sons: James L. Hudgens with the United States Army somewhere in Germany, Charles R. Hudgens, of this city, W.C. Hudgens, East Norfolk, Mass., and Clyde Hudgens of this city.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
