'Isaac Davis lived in the southwest corner of Brown County. Old timers joked Mr. Davis about being able to vote in either Brown or Adams county by moving from the sitting room to the bedroom as the house was on the county line. He, his wife Elizabeth Huddleston with four of their children are buried here. Hulda Thomas daughter of Isaac Davis and her husband John Thomas are here as are John's parents Michael Thomas and Amanda Allen.'
Isaac was a Civil War Soldier.
