Eleanor Jane Nielson, 80, of 127 McCrackin Court was a native of Marquette, Iowa. Mrs. Nielson was a daughter of the late William and Myrtle Glenn Pohl. She was a retired project director for Job Corps. Funeral services were held at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, Kan. Burial: Armstrong-Nielson Cemetery, Atchison. Survivors include her husband, James R. Nielson; a daughter, Jane Ellen Nielson, Mountain View, Calif.; a son, Lewis J. Nielson, Athens; a sister, Mary Hendrickson, Marquette; and three grandchildren. Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East.
