Mrs. Emilia Radseck passed peaceably to rest in the 67th year or her age, Friday, Feb. 7. Emilia Groth was born an the fifth day of March, 1863, at Kamps, Germany. She attended the Christiiin school at that place and was Iater confirmed In 1883 the deceased was united in marriage with Mr Herman:Radseck. Their union was blessed with 13 children, of which four have already passed to their eternal reward.
In I913 they emigrated to our country, settling-in the vicinity of Hawkhead; a year later they purchased the farm where they have resided since.
The deceased was a faithful helpmate, her life as wife and mother was one of self sacrifice and willing service. Her fountain of strength was the Grace of Him who had redeemed her and guided hcr footsteps on life's pathway.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, six sons, three daughters, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, 18 grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, besides many odther relatives and friends.
Burial services were held from St. Paul's Lutheran church, Monday aftcrnoon, Feb 10, the Rev. M. A. Haase speaking words of comfort and members of the choir singing some beautiful songs. Her body was laid to rest in the McDowell cemetery.
