RETIRED L&N EMPLOYEE DIES

Marvin O'Neal Gaddy, 61, of 405 Wynn St. died at 12:28 a.m. Saturday in Madison County Hospital In Jackson. He was a retired L&N employee.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridgeway Morticians with the Revs. Paul Peck and Mrs. Ora Bell Peck officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dickie Sensing, Danny Sensing, John Moore, Lonnie Ward, Don Reed and Rex Gore.

The son of John W. Gaddy of Paris, who survives, and Pearl Pierce Gaddy, he was born April 24, 1913 in Henry County. He was married Dec. 14, 1934, to the former Sally McGee, who survives. He was a member of the Henry Masonic Lodge and the Calvary Methodist Church.

Besides his father and wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Joan Ward of Cottage Grove, Mrs. Marie Moore of Smyrna and Mrs. Laura Reed of Purcell, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Coby Irby of Paris; four brothers, Odell, George D. and J. B. Gaddy, all of Paris and Lloyd Gaddy of Nashville; and seven grandchildren.
