PARIS: Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, at McEvoy Funeral Home for Talvin Edward Bevill. Jerry Drye of Henry Baptist Church, where he attended, officiated the service. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Bevill, 59, died on Friday, January 25, at his residence of an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Henry County on March 30, 1942 to the late Clarence Odell Beville and Ruth Taylor Bevill. He was married April 1, 1961 to the former Nelda Faye Marrs, who died October 16, 1998.
He was a retired self-employed tool and die maker.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Bush and Brenda Crouch, both of Paris and Tina Harris of Mansfield; four sisters, Martha Shrader and Patricia Bowers, both of Henry, Sherry Bevill of Paris and Rebecca Mackie of Connecticut; two brothers, Jessie Bevill of Buchanan and Clarence Bevill of Paris; and eight grandchildren.
Three brothers also preceded him in death, James Bevill in 1994, Danny Bevill in 1995 and Bobby Bevill in childhood.
