Her memorial service will be held 10:30 A.M. graveside on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Bevil Cemetery with Dusty Stout officiating and burial to follow.
Rebecca Mackie was born September 9, 1930 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Clarence Bevill and the late Ruth Taylor Bevill.
She is survived by her daughter, Norma (Stuart) Sherman; son, Michael Mackie; grandchildren, Kerric and Knowelle Sherman; sisters, Martha Shrader, Pat Bowers, and Sherry Bevill; brother, Clarence Beville, Jr.; also numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents, Ms. Mackie is also preceded in death by her brothers, James, Bobby, Jessie, Talvin, and Danny Bevill.
Rebecca was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as volunteering as a foster grandparent at a Mother's Retreat.
