Wyancombone married Poniute's daughter.In 1662,the small pox raged so fatally as to threaten extinction of the tribe,and Weincombone then died at the age of twenty two,he had two sons George Pharoah & Poniute.Poniute was named after his grandfather mentioned in 1675 as sachem of Montauk and as grandson of Wyandanch
