Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Masonic services at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Braden was born in Maroa, son of Frank J. and Mary V. Braden. He was a retied mechanic for Decatur Transit System, a U.S. Army veteran of World War I, a former member of Grotto Band, and a member of Musician's Union, Masonic Lodge 228, Lovington, Order of the Eastern Star and Decatur Municipal Band. He married Ethel Riley in 1955.
Surviving are his wife; step-daughhter, Mrs. Fred (Belle) Spittle of Decatur; sister, Mrs. Otis (Dollie) Reed of Maroa; two step-grandchildren.
Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
